Sandy Spit-Green Cay Quiet anchorage - Beautiful snorkeling
When coming from the West the anchorage is straightforward in 10ft of sand. If you are coming form the East, Guana or Anegada you have to leave a wide berth to starboard to avoid the reef. The holding is excellent and you are well protected from the swells. Snorkel to the north of the anchorage of Green Cay being careful not to venture too far North due to the currents and swells associated with the windward side. This is a wonderful overnight anchorage. We also use it as a breakfast anchorage after having lobster dinners in Little Harbor JVD since little harbor is so unattractive.
